This Refund & Returns Policy explains how cancellations, returns, refunds and faulty goods are handled by Biker Bling Limited.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Change-of-Mind Returns for UK Online Orders

If you are a UK consumer buying online, you will normally have the right to cancel your order without giving a reason.

You must tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods. After telling us that you wish to cancel, you should return the goods within a further 14 days.

The easiest way to tell us is by emailing info@biker-bling.com and including your order number and the item or items you wish to return.

You do not have to give a reason for exercising your statutory right to cancel.

Condition of Change-of-Mind Returns

You are entitled to inspect goods in a similar way to how you could reasonably examine them in a shop.

Please return all parts, fixings, washers and other components supplied with the product. Original packaging should also be included where reasonably possible.

If goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and suitability, we may be entitled to make a lawful deduction from the refund to reflect any reduction in value.

For motorcycle fasteners, signs of fitting or use may include scratched or marked bolt heads, damaged threads, tool marks, threadlocker or anti-seize residue, missing components or other evidence that the item has been installed or used.

This section does not limit your statutory rights where an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.

Return Postage for Change-of-Mind Returns

Where you have been informed before purchase that you are responsible for the direct cost of returning unwanted goods, you will normally be responsible for that return postage when you simply change your mind.

We recommend using an appropriate postal service and keeping proof of postage until your return has been completed.

Original Delivery Charges

Where the statutory right to cancel applies, we will refund the standard outbound delivery charge where required by law.

If you chose a more expensive delivery option than the least expensive standard delivery service offered, we are not required to refund the additional premium delivery cost.

Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect or Misdescribed Goods

If an item arrives damaged, is faulty, has been incorrectly supplied or does not match the product description, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Email info@biker-bling.com and include:

  • Your order number.
  • Your name.
  • The item concerned.
  • A description of the problem.
  • Clear photographs where they may help us identify the issue.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods supplied to consumers must meet legal requirements including satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and being as described.

Where the legal short-term right to reject applies, consumers normally have up to 30 days to exercise that right. Other legal remedies may continue after that period, including repair, replacement, price reduction or a final right to reject depending on the circumstances.

Where goods are lawfully rejected because they are faulty or incorrectly supplied, Biker Bling Limited will bear reasonable return costs where required by law.

Items Ordered in Error or Incorrect Fitment Selected

Please check the motorcycle manufacturer, model, year and product fitment information carefully before ordering.

If you accidentally order the wrong product, this will normally be treated as a change-of-mind return where the statutory cancellation right applies.

If the product was incorrectly described or our listing stated that it was suitable when it was not, please contact us so that we can investigate the issue as a potentially incorrect or misdescribed product.

For help before ordering, see our guide to choosing the correct replacement motorcycle bolt.

Damage Caused After Delivery

Consumer rights relating to faulty goods do not normally cover problems caused solely by misuse, incorrect fitting, accidental damage, modification, normal wear or using a fastener in an application for which it was not supplied.

If you are unsure whether a problem is caused by the product or its installation, contact us and provide photographs and relevant motorcycle details so that we can assess the issue.

Custom or Specially Made Products

The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply to goods that have been made to your individual specification or clearly personalised for you.

This exception does not remove your legal rights if customised goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.

Refunds

Where a valid change-of-mind cancellation applies, we will process the refund without undue delay and within the time required by law.

For returned goods, this will normally be no later than 14 days after we receive the goods back or, where applicable, after you provide acceptable evidence that the goods have been returned.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless another method is expressly agreed.

We do not charge a fee for issuing a refund.

After we issue a refund, PayPal, Stripe, your card provider or your bank may require additional processing time before the funds appear in your account.

Exchanges and Replacements

If you would prefer a replacement rather than a refund, please contact us before returning the item.

Whether an exchange can be arranged will depend on the circumstances and product availability. Your statutory rights are not reduced because you ask about an exchange or replacement.

International Returns

If you are returning an order from outside the United Kingdom, please contact us before sending the goods back so that we can provide the appropriate return information.

For a change-of-mind return, you will normally be responsible for the return postage cost where applicable, unless we have agreed otherwise or applicable consumer law requires a different arrangement.

Customers outside the UK may also have mandatory consumer rights under the laws that apply in their country. Nothing in this policy is intended to remove rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Trade and Business Customers

The statutory consumer cancellation rights described in this policy apply to consumers rather than purchases made wholly for business purposes.

If you purchased through a Biker Bling trade account or for business use, please contact us regarding the applicable return arrangements and any agreed trade terms.
