Rear chain adjuster bolt kit for Honda CBR600RR
This kit replaces the adjuster bolts and nuts used to kit the rear wheel position on the Honda CBR600RR 2009–2012. The adjusters help set chain slack and keep the rear wheel correctly aligned during adjustment.
What you receive
- 2x A2 (304) stainless steel chain adjuster bolts.
- 4x A2 (304) stainless steel hex adjuster nuts – two supplied for each adjuster bolt so they can be locked together after the wheel and chain alignment has been set.
- 1x Biker Bling anti-seize compound pack (7 g).
Biker Bling double-nut arrangement: Unlike Honda’s two-nut original arrangement, this aftermarket kit includes four hex nuts, intended to be used in pairs (two on each adjuster bolt) as locknuts after setting the wheel position and chain alignment. This is an intentional Biker Bling kit specification, not a claim that the original Honda motorcycle used four adjuster nuts. The chain, rear axle, adjuster plates and other wheel hardware are not included.
Original Honda fixing references
| Fitting position / component | Supplied quantity | Original Honda fixing reference |
|---|---|---|
| Left and right chain adjuster bolts | 2x | 90106-MFJ-A50 |
| Matching chain adjuster nuts | 4x | 90309-357-000 |
These numbers identify the original Honda fixing positions, not Biker Bling product codes. The supplied kit contains aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda parts. Year-specific references describe alternatives for their stated years, not additional supplied parts.
The supplied nut quantity is the retail pack allocation; it is not a count of every nut in the Honda diagram.
Model-specific aftermarket replacements: The bolts and nuts are selected for the original chain-adjuster positions on this CBR600RR model range. They are aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda parts.
Head style and materials: The supplied bolts and nuts are A2 (304) stainless steel. Their appearance may differ from Honda’s original hardware.
When should you replace chain adjuster hardware?
- Corroded or rounded adjusters: Damaged heads can make routine chain adjustment harder.
- Worn threads or missing nuts: Replace hardware that cannot hold the setting securely.
- During chain or rear-wheel service: Inspect the adjuster bolts, nuts and plates while the wheel position is being kit.
Replacement hardware cannot repair bent adjuster plates, a damaged axle or worn threads in the swingarm.
Model-specific OEM replacements: Biker Bling selects the supplied replacement fasteners and fittings for the rear-wheel chain adjuster positions on the Honda CBR600RR 2009–2012, rather than supplying a generic assortment. The critical fitting dimensions match the original Honda fixings for those intended positions. These are aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda-branded components.
Fitting the chain adjusters
set chain slack and rear-wheel alignment to Honda’s workshop instructions. The Biker Bling kit supplies two matching hex nuts per adjuster bolt so the pair can be locked together after the correct wheel position has been set. Tighten the axle and adjuster hardware in the sequence and to the settings specified by Honda; do not guess a torque value or use the extra nut to compensate for damaged threads. Recheck wheel alignment, chain slack and that the adjuster nuts remain securely locked before riding. See our guide to fitting stainless steel motorcycle bolts for general advice.
Customer questions
Does this include the axle or adjuster blocks?
No. The supplied items are the listed adjuster bolts, nuts and anti-seize pack.
Where should I use the anti-seize compound?
Use it only where the relevant motorcycle or component instructions specify a suitable thread treatment. Inclusion of the pack is not an instruction to lubricate every fixing.
For general background, read our motorcycle bolts into aluminium guide. Honda’s exact workshop procedure takes precedence.
