Footrest hanger mounting bolts for Honda CBR600RR
This eight-bolt kit is for the original rider and pillion footrest hanger brackets where they mount to the frame of the Honda CBR600RR 2009–2012. It covers the hanger-to-frame fixings, not the footpeg pivot pins, exhaust mounts or aftermarket rearsets.
What you receive
- 8x A2 (304) stainless steel replacement footrest hanger bolts.
- 1x Biker Bling anti-seize compound pack (7 g)
The kit contains bolts only; the footrests, hangers and other fittings are not included.
Original Honda part number this kit replaces
- 90157-ME9-000 – Honda’s original socket bolt shown 8x in the 2009 STEP parts fiche.
This identifies Honda’s original fixing, not a Biker Bling SKU. The supplied bolts are aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda hardware.
Material and replacement advice
The supplied bolts are A2 (304) stainless steel. Inspect the hanger, frame threads and mounting faces as well as the bolts when servicing the footrests. New bolts cannot repair a cracked bracket, damaged mounting face or stripped thread.
Model-specific OEM replacements: Biker Bling selects the supplied replacement fasteners and fittings for the rider and pillion footrest hanger mounting positions on the Honda CBR600RR 2009–2012, rather than supplying a generic assortment. The critical fitting dimensions match the original Honda fixings for those intended positions. These are aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda-branded components.
Fitting the footrest hangers
These brackets support the rider and passenger. Keep the hanger correctly aligned and follow Honda’s workshop instructions for the fixing positions and tightening procedure. Do not use a bolt to pull a misaligned bracket into place. If a hanger or frame thread is damaged, have it checked before the motorcycle is ridden. For general care of aluminium mounting threads, see our aluminium thread-care guide; Honda’s procedure takes precedence.
