When should you replace engine casing bolts?

• Correct positions: Match each bolt to its original location and start it by hand. Do not pull a misaligned cover into place with a bolt.
• Sealing arrangements: Retain the required locating arrangements. Renew disturbed gaskets and seals where specified.
• Tightening and thread condition: Follow the specified tightening order, torque and thread condition. The included anti-seize pack is not an instruction to lubricate every fixing.
