These references identify Honda’s original fixings at the listed positions, not Biker Bling SKUs. The supplied bolts are aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda-branded parts. A shared reference does not make bolts at different positions interchangeable.

Important fitment notes

• Compatibility: For Honda CB1000F Big One 1993–1996 with the original engine-cover arrangement listed above. Check the exact year and fitted covers before installation.
• Match each position: Keep the fixing groups separated. Use the correct replacement for each original mounting hole and follow Honda’s fastener specification.
• Exclusions: Engine covers, gaskets, seals, dowels, drain plugs, drain bolts, sealing washers, internal engine fixings and unrelated brackets are not included.
• Materials: The replacement cover bolts are A2 (304) stainless steel. Their heads may differ in appearance from the original Honda fixings.

When should you replace engine-cover bolts?

• Corroded or marked heads: Inspect the fixings before removing a cover.
• Damaged threads or rounded drive recesses: Replace unsuitable hardware and inspect the engine threads.
• Cover servicing: Check each mounting position and the sealing components during reassembly.

New bolts cannot repair a cracked cover, damaged sealing face, stripped mounting thread or failed gasket. Investigate an oil or coolant leak rather than relying on extra tightening.

Fitting the engine-cover bolts

• Support the motorcycle securely. Follow Honda’s procedure for draining fluids where required, removing the relevant cover and renewing its sealing components.
• Match every bolt to its original position, start it by hand and follow Honda’s tightening order and torque instructions.
• Use anti-seize or other compounds only where the applicable instructions specify them. The included pack is not an instruction to lubricate every fixing.
• After assembly, check the relevant fluid levels and inspect the disturbed covers for leaks. Have damaged threads or uncertain work checked by a qualified motorcycle technician.

Are dowels or drain plugs included?

No. The kit supplies the listed cover fixings. Dowels, oil or coolant drain fixings, washers, gaskets and engine components are not included.

Will this repair a leaking engine cover?

Replacement bolts alone will not repair a damaged gasket, cover or sealing face. Inspect the assembly and follow Honda’s repair procedure.
