Important fitment notes
- Compatibility: For Honda CB650F 2014–2016 with the original chain-adjustment positions.
- Verify before fitting: Check the exact year, variant and original components. Modified assemblies may require different fasteners.
- Aftermarket parts: These are replacement components, not genuine Honda-branded hardware.
- Exclusions: Chain, sprockets, axle, axle nut, swingarm and complete adjuster blocks are not included.
Original Honda part references
- 90106-MCF-D00 — Original chain-adjuster bolt.
- 90309-357-000 — Original adjuster locknut.
These references identify original Honda components, not Biker Bling SKUs. References for different years or positions are not additional supplied parts or proof of an official supersession. Confirm each fixing at its intended position.
Materials and head style: The replacement bolts are A2 (304) stainless steel. Their heads may look different from Honda’s originals. The material name alone does not establish mechanical-strength equivalence.
When should you replace these fixings?
- Damaged adjuster heads: Inspect both adjusters during chain maintenance.
- Damaged threads: Check the bolt, nut and swingarm mounting.
- Wheel adjustment: Check that both adjusters engage and lock correctly.
New adjuster bolts cannot repair damaged swingarm threads, worn axle blocks or a worn chain and sprockets.
Fitting information
- Support the motorcycle securely and follow Honda’s chain-slack, wheel-alignment, axle-tightening and adjuster-locking procedure.
- Do not force a seized adjuster or use a bolt to pull damaged parts into place.
- Use compounds only where the fitting procedure specifies them.
- Check chain slack at the required wheel positions, wheel alignment and secure axle/adjuster assembly before riding.
For general background, read our guide to protecting aluminium mounting threads. Honda’s workshop procedure takes precedence.
