Footrest hanger bolts for Honda CBR650F

This kit replaces fasteners in the rider and pillion footrest hanger assemblies on the Honda CBR650F 2014–2016. It covers the original footrest hanger bolt positions only. Separate step-plate bolts, footpeg pivot pins and aftermarket rearsets are not included.

• 8x A2 (304) stainless steel socket bolts for the footrest hanger positions.
• 1x Biker Bling anti-seize compound pack (7 g).

The kit contains 8 replacement hanger bolts. Other step-plate fixing bolts appear separately in Honda’s parts diagram but are not supplied in this kit. Footrests, hangers and other fittings are not included.

When should you replace footrest hanger bolts?

• Corroded or damaged heads make maintenance difficult.
• A bolt is missing or its threads are damaged.
• You find a loose or poorly seated footrest bracket during service.

New bolts cannot repair a cracked hanger, damaged frame mounting or stripped thread.

Fitting the footrest hangers

These mountings support the rider and passenger. Follow Honda’s workshop instructions for positioning, fastener specification and tightening sequence and torque. Align the mounting faces before tightening; do not use a bolt to pull a bracket into place. Are the footrests included?

No. The kit supplies only the listed replacement fixings and the separate anti-seize pack.

Where should I use the anti-seize compound?

Use it only where the relevant motorcycle or component instructions specify a suitable thread treatment. Inclusion of the pack is not an instruction to lubricate every fixing.
