Handlebar Clamp Bolt Kit for Honda CR125R

This replacement bolt kit is for the original handlebar clamp mounting positions on the Honda CR125R 1990–2007. The table distinguishes these mounting positions from the other steering and front-wheel fixings.

Materials and head style: The replacement fasteners are A2 (304) stainless steel. Bolt heads may look different from Honda’s originals; see the product photographs. Stainless steel describes the material; it does not by itself establish mechanical-strength equivalence to the original fastener.

When should you replace these fixings?

• Inspect corroded or rounded bolt heads before handlebar maintenance.
• Replace damaged threads or missing fixings with the correct specification.
• If a handlebar feels loose, inspect the clamp, mounting faces and threads together.

Replacement hardware cannot repair cracked components, stripped mounting threads or an incorrectly seated assembly.

Fitting information

Follow Honda’s procedure for the original clamp position, fastener specification, tightening order and torque. Start the correct bolts by hand and avoid forcing misaligned clamps together. Turn the steering fully both ways after fitting; check secure handlebars, normal throttle return and clearance for cables and hoses.

Use anti-seize or other thread treatments only where the applicable fitting instructions specify them; the included pack is not an instruction to lubricate every fixing.

Have damaged or uncertain mountings checked by a qualified motorcycle technician before riding.

No. Brake and clutch holders, switchgear and steering-yoke fixings are outside this handlebar clamp kit.
