Important fitment notes
- Compatibility: Listed for Honda VFR800X Crossrunner 2011–2014 with the original upper and lower steering-yoke fork clamps.
- Verify before installing: Match the exact motorcycle, original components and fitting arrangement. Modified assemblies may need different fasteners.
- Aftermarket parts: These are model-specific aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda-branded components.
- Exclusions: Yokes, forks, steering-stem nuts, handlebars, handlebar mounting bolts and front axle pinch bolts are not included.
Original Honda part references
- 90108-MR7-000 — original yoke pinch reference; match upper/lower location and year.
- 90115-KY6-000 — original yoke pinch reference; match upper/lower location and year.
These references identify original Honda components, not Biker Bling product codes. Year-specific alternatives are not extra kit contents or proof of an official supersession. Match the original part and mounting position before fitting.
Model-specific aftermarket replacements: Biker Bling selects the supplied replacements for the original upper and lower steering-yoke fork clamps. The cross-reference does not establish suitability for unrelated mounting points.
Materials and head style: The supplied bolts are A2 (304) stainless steel. Their heads may differ from Honda’s originals. Stainless material alone does not establish equivalent mechanical strength.
When should you replace these fixings?
- Corroded or rounded heads: Inspect the fasteners during servicing.
- Damaged threads or missing bolts: Check both the fixing and its threaded mounting before reassembly.
- Wheel, fork or handlebar maintenance: Check the intended mounting positions and component condition.
New bolts cannot repair cracked clamps, stripped threads or incorrectly seated components.
Fitting information
- Support the motorcycle securely and follow Honda’s workshop procedure for the exact mounting position, fastener specification, alignment, tightening order and torque.
- Start the correct bolts by hand. Do not use a bolt to pull a misaligned clamp into place.
- Use anti-seize, threadlocker or other compounds only where the specified procedure requires them.
- Before riding, confirm the assembly is secure and aligned, steering movement is free and cables and hoses do not snag. Check normal throttle and brake operation. Have uncertain or damaged mountings inspected by a qualified motorcycle technician.
For general background, read our motorcycle bolt strength grades guide. Honda’s workshop procedure takes precedence.
