Front Axle / Spindle Pinch Bolt Kit for Honda VT1100C Shadow Spirit

This replacement bolt kit is for the front wheel spindle clamps at the bottoms of the original fork legs on the Honda VT1100C Shadow Spirit 2000–2007. The table distinguishes these mounting positions from the other steering and front-wheel fixings.

What you receive

• 4x A2 (304) stainless steel bolts for original lower-fork front axle / spindle clamping positions.
• 1x Biker Bling anti-seize compound pack (7 g).

Photographs illustrate the bolt style and may be generic. The contents list defines the supplied quantities.

Important fitment notes

• Compatibility: For Honda VT1100C Shadow Spirit 2000–2007 with the original component arrangement described above.
• Check before fitting: Verify the exact year, variant and original mounting positions. Aftermarket assemblies or modified fittings may require different hardware.
• Aftermarket parts: These are Biker Bling replacement components, not genuine Honda-branded parts.
• Exclusions: Front spindle, axle retaining bolt, wheel, forks, yoke bolts and brake calliper mounting bolts are not included.

Original Honda fixing references

These references identify the original Honda fixings, not Biker Bling product codes. Where more than one reference is listed for a position, they describe original year or variant alternatives, not additional supplied bolts or an asserted supersession.

Model-specific aftermarket replacements: Biker Bling selects these replacement fasteners for the original positions listed above. Match each to its intended location; the reference does not establish suitability at another mounting point.

The allocation applies to the original lower-fork axle holders. It is separate from the axle itself, fork-yoke bolts and brake-calliper mounting bolts.

Materials and head style: The replacement fasteners are A2 (304) stainless steel. Bolt heads may look different from Honda’s originals; see the product photographs. Stainless steel describes the material; it does not by itself establish mechanical-strength equivalence to the original fastener.

When should you replace these fixings?

• Inspect corroded pinch bolts and the axle-holder threads during wheel servicing.
• Worn drive recesses can prevent correct removal and tightening.
• Check the clamp condition whenever the wheel or forks have been removed.

Replacement hardware cannot repair cracked components, stripped mounting threads or an incorrectly seated assembly.

Fitting information

Support the motorcycle securely and follow Honda’s exact procedure for spindle seating, wheel alignment, tightening order, torque and thread condition. Check the wheel and forks are secure and correctly aligned, the wheel rotates normally and the brake operates correctly before riding.

Use anti-seize or other thread treatments only where the applicable fitting instructions specify them; the included pack is not an instruction to lubricate every fixing.

Have damaged or uncertain mountings checked by a qualified motorcycle technician before riding.

For general background, read our motorcycle bolt strength grades guide. Honda’s exact workshop procedure takes precedence.
