Important fitment notes

When should you replace these fixings?

• Corroded or damaged heads: Inspect worn hardware before removal and refitting.
• Damaged threads or missing bolts: Check the original mounting threads and supporting components before replacing a fixing.
• During component servicing: Keep each bolt group with its original position and inspect the mounting faces before reassembly.

A loose weight may indicate damaged internal mounting parts. Replacement bolts alone will not repair worn bushes or an incompatible weight assembly.

Fitting information

Match each replacement to the original weight assembly and follow Triumph’s tightening and thread-treatment instructions. Use fitting compounds only where specified. Keep the original supporting components in their intended order. Check both weights are secure and that the right-hand weight does not obstruct throttle rotation or return, including with the steering turned fully each way.

Will these fit aftermarket bar-end mirrors?

Check the mirror manufacturer’s mounting arrangement. Expansion fittings or replacement weights may need different bolts; the original-layout fitment here does not automatically cover aftermarket mirrors.
