Materials: The five replacement bolts are A2 (304) stainless steel. The ten sealing washers are copper.
Model-specific aftermarket replacements: Biker Bling supplies these replacement bolts for the brake-line connections listed above. They are aftermarket parts, not genuine Honda components.
When should you replace banjo bolts and washers?
- When brake hoses or fittings are renewed and the connection is opened.
- If a bolt is corroded or its head or threads are damaged.
- If a washer is missing or the hose connection shows signs of leakage.
New fasteners cannot repair a damaged hose, calliper, master cylinder or sealing face.
Model-specific OEM replacements: Biker Bling selects the supplied replacement fasteners and fittings for the listed brake-hose banjo connection positions on the Honda CBR650F 2014–2016, rather than supplying a generic assortment. The critical fitting dimensions match the original Honda fixings for those intended positions. These are aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda-branded components.
Fitting the brake banjo connections
Brake hydraulics are safety-critical. Have the work completed by someone competent with motorcycle brake systems, following Honda’s workshop procedure. Use new sealing washers at opened connections, bleed the system correctly and check for leaks and firm brake operation before riding. Do not guess tightening values. Our guide to motorcycle banjo bolts and copper washers explains the parts; it does not replace the workshop instructions.
Customer questions
Are banjo bolts included?
No. This is a copper sealing washer kit with a separate anti-seize pack; bolts and hydraulic components are not included.
Where should I use the anti-seize compound?
Use it only where the relevant motorcycle or component instructions specify a suitable thread treatment. Inclusion of the pack is not an instruction to lubricate every fixing.
