Front brake reservoir lid bolts for the SC50
Replace the two small bolts that hold the front brake-fluid reservoir cap on the Honda CBR900RR CBR954RR SC50 2002–2003. They do not secure a brake hose or hydraulic banjo fitting.
What you receive
- 2x A2 (304) stainless steel front reservoir-cap bolts.
- 1x Biker Bling anti-seize compound pack (7 g).
Only the replacement bolts are supplied; the reservoir lid, diaphragm and fluid are not included.

These numbers identify the original Honda fixing positions, not Biker Bling product codes. The supplied kit contains aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda parts. Year-specific references describe alternatives for their stated years, not additional supplied parts.
Model-specific OEM replacements: These aftermarket bolts are selected for the SC50 front reservoir cap and have their critical fitting dimensions matched to the original mounting positions. They are not genuine Honda components.
Head style and materials: Both bolts are A2 (304) stainless steel. The head finish may differ from Honda’s original. Keep the included anti-seize pack out of the reservoir; it is supplied as a standard kit extra.
Reasons to renew them
- A rounded recess can make cap removal awkward during routine inspection.
- Corrosion, a damaged bolt or missing hardware can prevent the cap from being secured as intended.
- If the cap is loose or damp with fluid, inspect the diaphragm and sealing face too; new bolts cannot fix a damaged seal.
Refitting the brake reservoir cap
Protect painted surfaces and keep dirt or compound away from the brake fluid. Refit the diaphragm and lid carefully, then tighten as Honda specifies. Before riding, check the cap is seated securely and there is no brake-fluid leak.
Customer questions
Does this include a reservoir cap?
No. The kit supplies the listed replacement cap bolts and the separate anti-seize pack. The cap, diaphragm and reservoir are not included.
Where should I use the anti-seize compound?
Use it only where the relevant motorcycle or component instructions specify a suitable thread treatment. Inclusion of the pack is not an instruction to lubricate every fixing.
