When should you replace these fixings?

• A hydraulic joint has been opened: Renew the specified sealing washers when reconnecting it.
• Damaged hardware: Inspect worn heads, threads, washers and sealing faces.
• A leaking joint: Check the hose fitting and component as well as the fasteners.

Replacement hardware cannot repair damaged sealing faces, a hose fitting or a hydraulic component. Extra tightening is not a substitute for finding the cause.

• Follow Honda’s procedure for the exact connection, including washer placement, tightening, hydraulic fluid and bleeding.
• Keep open connections clean and protect painted surfaces and friction components from fluid spills.
