Materials and appearance: The supplied bolts are stainless steel; the well nuts are rubber with threaded inserts. Their appearance may differ from the original Triumph hardware. Stainless material alone does not establish equivalent mechanical strength.

When should you replace these fixings?

• Corroded or damaged hardware: Inspect worn heads, damaged threads and supporting parts at the listed fixing positions.
• Missing fixings: Restore the correct mounting arrangement with suitable replacement hardware.
• Component servicing: Check the surrounding mounting points before reassembly.

Replacement hardware cannot repair cracked components, stripped threads or damaged mounting faces. Identify the cause of looseness or leakage before refitting.

Fitting information

Check the screen and nose-cone mounting holes are aligned and undamaged. Fit the rubber well nuts and supporting washers in their intended positions. Follow Triumph’s screen fitting procedure and avoid overtightening or stressing the plastic. Apply compounds only where appropriate; the included pack is not an instruction to coat rubber fittings. Check the screen is secure before use.
