When should you replace these fixings?

• A joint has been opened: Renew the specified sealing washers as required by Honda’s procedure.
• Damaged hardware: Inspect worn heads, threads, washers and sealing faces.
• A leaking connection: Identify whether the cause is the bolt, washers, hose fitting or mating surface.

Replacement hardware cannot repair a damaged hose fitting or hydraulic component. Extra tightening is not a substitute for finding the cause.
