Fairing and bodywork fixing kit for Triumph Sprint GT 1050 2010–2016

This model-specific kit brings together 174 fixings across ten fitting areas for the Triumph Sprint GT 1050 2010–2016, with the matching original bodywork. Engine capacity: 1050 cc.

One full kit covers the listed screen, infill panels, cockpit, nose cone, front and lower fairings, rear side fairings, rear fairings and undertray, grab rack, front mudguard, chain guard and hugger positions. The original screen-bracket fixing group is excluded.

Stainless steel replacement bolts provide corrosion resistance, although appropriate cleaning and care are still required. Plastic clips, rubber well nuts, captive clips, nuts and nylon washers retain the materials stated in the contents.

When should you replace bodywork fixings?

Inspect fixings when removing panels or servicing these areas. Replace missing fixings and damaged heads, threads, nuts or clips with the appropriate type. New hardware cannot repair cracked panels, enlarged holes or damaged mounting threads.

Original Triumph references identify the fixing or original washer position being replaced. Supplied hardware is aftermarket and is not genuine Triumph-branded stock. For nylon washers at original washer callouts, the reference identifies the position rather than a claim that the original washer was nylon.

Nylon washer allocation

The 59 nylon washers include 6 for the screen, 8 for infill panels, 1 for the cockpit, 8 for front and lower fairings, 2 for rear side fairings, 16 for rear fairings and undertray, 6 for the grab rack, 4 for the front mudguard and 8 for the chain guard and hugger. Original washer callouts are already included and must not be added again. No supplementary nylon washers are allocated to shouldered bolts. A plus sign identifies supplementary washers without an original Triumph reference.

Fitment and coverage

• Compatibility: Triumph Sprint GT 1050 2010–2016, 1050 cc, with the matching original panels and mounting arrangements.
• Listed positions only: this kit does not include every fastener visible in an exploded drawing.
• Original fittings: retain unlisted sleeves, spacers, screen gaskets and rubber grommets. Modified panels, aftermarket screens, tail tidies and accessory brackets may require different hardware.
• Exclusions: bodywork, screens, grab racks, luggage and luggage-carriage mechanisms, screen-bracket bolts, bracket-to-frame fixings, retaining washers, seals, gaskets, sleeves, spacers, rubber grommets, chain rubbing-strip fixings, reflector fixings, internal light fixings, engine casing bolts and wheel, brake, suspension and structural chassis fasteners are not supplied.

Some catalogue panel and screen references change with VIN. VIN means Vehicle Identification Number: check the chassis identification and original fitting arrangement rather than the registration year alone. Alternative screen assemblies are not additional supplied screens or bolt sets.

Fitting information

Support the motorcycle securely and work with cool components. Keep fixings identified by location. Match the thread, length, shoulder, head clearance and washer arrangement before fitting. Start threads by hand and do not pull a misaligned panel into place with a bolt. Keep shouldered bolts in their specified positions.

Follow Triumph’s workshop procedure, tightening specification and required thread condition for each fixing. Stainless material alone does not establish equivalent mechanical strength. Apply fitting compounds only where permitted. Check panel seating, clearances, retained spacers and secure attachment before riding.
