Important fitment notes
- Compatibility: Designed for Honda VFR1200F model years 2014 and 2015 with the original brake and hydraulic clutch arrangement described above.
- Verify before installing: Check the exact model and banjo fittings, especially if aftermarket hoses or modified hydraulic components are fitted.
- Aftermarket parts: These are aftermarket replacement parts, not genuine Honda-branded components. The sealing washers are copper.
- Exclusions: Banjo bolts, hoses, master cylinders, clutch slave cylinders and callipers are not included. This is a washer-only kit, not the full banjo bolt and washer kit.
Original Honda part number this kit replaces
- 90545-300-000 – original Honda oil-bolt sealing washer listed at brake and hydraulic clutch banjo connections.
This reference identifies the original Honda component, not a Biker Bling SKU.
Model-specific aftermarket replacements: Biker Bling selects these aftermarket copper washers for the original brake and hydraulic clutch banjo positions listed in the table. The kit covers those seven connections; it is not a washer set for every hydraulic joint on the motorcycle.
Materials: The 14x hydraulic sealing washers are copper, not stainless steel.
When should you replace the banjo sealing washers?
- A hydraulic joint has been opened: Fit new, correctly specified sealing washers as required by Honda’s procedure.
- Damaged or previously compressed washers: Inspect the connection before reassembly rather than treating sealing washers as ordinary reusable hardware.
- Hydraulic servicing: Check the sealing faces and hose fitting while the joint is accessible.
If a connection leaks, inspect the bolt, hose fitting and mating surfaces as well as the washers. Additional tightening is not a substitute for finding the cause.
Fitting the brake and clutch banjo washers
- Follow Honda’s instructions for the washer arrangement, tightening, hydraulic fluid and bleeding at each disturbed connection.
- Keep the sealing faces clean and use the specified hydraulic sealing washers rather than general-purpose flat washers.
- The included anti-seize pack is not an instruction to apply compound to a hydraulic connection.
- Check for leaks and confirm correct brake and clutch operation before riding. Have a qualified motorcycle technician carry out the work if uncertain.
