Brake, Clutch and Switchgear Clamp Bolt Kit for Honda VFR1200F

Renewing the fixings around the handlebar controls? This kit covers the original front brake and hydraulic clutch master cylinder holders and the left and right switchgear housings on the Honda VFR1200F 2014–2015. The bolts and bolts serve different mounting points; they are not eight interchangeable fasteners.

Important fitment notes

• Compatibility: Designed for Honda VFR1200F model years 2014 and 2015 with the original brake, hydraulic clutch and switchgear assemblies.
• Verify before installing: Check the exact model and control housings. Aftermarket master cylinders, switches or modified handlebars may need different fasteners.
• Aftermarket parts: These are aftermarket replacement parts, not genuine Honda-branded components. The supplied fasteners are A2 (304) stainless steel.
• Exclusions: Levers, master cylinders, switches and handlebars are not included. This kit does not include lever pivot bolts, banjo bolts, handlebar-to-fork clamp bolts or yoke pinch bolts.

• 96001-06022-00 – original front brake and clutch master cylinder holder bolt (2x at each holder; 4x in total).
• 90507-MGE-640 – original left and right switchgear housing bolt (4x in total).

These numbers identify the original Honda components, not Biker Bling SKUs or genuine Honda parts supplied in this kit.

Model-specific aftermarket replacements: Biker Bling selects the supplied bolts and bolts for the original brake and hydraulic clutch master cylinder holders and switchgear mounting positions. These are model-specific aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda components. The separate handlebar-to-fork clamps are outside this kit’s scope.

Head style and materials: All 8x supplied fasteners are A2 (304) stainless steel. The head appearance may differ from Honda’s originals. Use each fixing only at its intended position; stainless steel alone does not establish equivalent mechanical strength.

When should you replace these control fixings?

• Corroded or damaged fasteners: Worn heads and damaged threads can complicate control servicing.
• Missing control fixings: Inspect the housings and clamp threads before choosing replacement parts.
• Control adjustment or maintenance: Check fasteners when repositioning or servicing the controls.

A damaged housing or stripped clamp thread must be repaired appropriately. Tightening a new bolt will not make a damaged clamp sound.

Fitting the brake, clutch and switchgear controls

• Follow Honda’s clamp orientation, clearance and tightening instructions.
• Keep wiring and hoses correctly routed and clear of moving parts.
• After fitting, check that the controls are secure, the throttle returns freely and all switches operate correctly throughout the steering movement.
• Apply fitting compounds only where the relevant instructions specify them.

Does this kit include handlebar-to-fork clamp bolts?

No. It supplies 4x brake and clutch master cylinder holder bolts and 4x switchgear bolts. Handlebar-to-fork and yoke clamp bolts are separate.
