Chain adjuster bolts and nuts for the Aprilia Pegaso 600
The chain-adjuster bolts are used to position the rear wheel when setting drive-chain slack on the Aprilia Pegaso 600 (1990–1996). This kit covers the chain adjustment positions at the rear swing arm, not the rear axle or sprocket retaining bolts.
What is included?
- 304 (A2) stainless steel replacement chain-adjuster bolts.
- Matching nuts for the supplied chain-adjuster bolts.
The bolts are stainless steel; no material specification is claimed for the supplied nuts.
When should you replace these bolts?
- Damaged adjuster heads: Rounded or corroded heads can prevent accurate chain adjustment.
- Worn threads or missing nuts: Hardware that cannot be secured correctly needs attention before the motorcycle is ridden.
- Chain maintenance: Inspect adjusters and swing-arm mounting points when checking chain slack or servicing the rear wheel.
New adjusters cannot repair damaged swing-arm threads, bent adjustment plates or worn chain and sprocket components.
Fitting and safety
Follow Aprilia’s workshop instructions for measuring chain slack, adjusting both sides evenly, confirming rear-wheel alignment and securing the rear axle. Do not rely on a generic torque value. If an adjuster is damaged or wheel alignment cannot be verified, seek qualified mechanical help before riding. See our motorcycle bolt fitting guide for general fitting precautions.
This is an aftermarket kit, not genuine Aprilia hardware.
