Rear footrest hanger bolts for the Aprilia Pegaso 600
These bolts secure the rear passenger footrest hanger brackets to their frame mounting points on the Aprilia Pegaso 600 (1990–1996). They are intended for the rear hanger fixings, rather than the folding footrest pivots or other frame bolts.
What is included?
- 304 (A2) stainless steel replacement bolts for the rear footrest hanger-to-frame positions.
The footrest brackets, footpegs and pivot parts are not included.
When should you replace these bolts?
- Corroded or damaged heads: Worn bolt drives can make hanger removal and refitting difficult.
- Loose brackets or damaged mounting threads: Check the bracket and frame fixing points before fitting replacement fasteners.
- Passenger footrest servicing: Inspect the bolts and bracket whenever the rear footrest is removed.
Replacement bolts cannot repair cracked footrest hangers, stripped frame threads or worn footpeg pivots.
Fitting and safety
Seat each hanger properly against its mounting point and start the bolts by hand. Use the correct fastener specification and tightening method from Aprilia’s workshop instructions. Passenger footrest hangers carry a rider’s weight, so do not use a loose or damaged bracket until it has been checked by a qualified technician. Read our motorcycle bolt fitting guide for general fitting precautions.
These are 304 (A2) stainless steel aftermarket replacement bolts, not genuine Aprilia components. The material designation alone does not establish equivalence to every original mechanical specification.
