Important fitment notes

• For Honda CB500F model years 2019, 2020 and 2021 with the original mounting arrangement described above.
• Check modified assemblies against their manufacturer’s required hardware specification.
• Reservoir, cap, diaphragm and hydraulic components are not included.
• These are aftermarket replacement parts, not genuine Honda-branded components.
• Photographs may illustrate the fastener style; the contents table defines the supplied quantity.

Model-specific replacement bolts

Biker Bling selects these replacement fasteners for the listed original mounting positions. Match each bolt to its intended location; a shared thread or Honda reference does not establish suitability for other assemblies.

Materials: The bolts are A2 (304) stainless steel. Their head appearance may differ from Honda’s originals. The material name alone does not establish equivalent mechanical strength.

When should you replace rear reservoir cap bolts?

• Corroded or damaged heads: Inspect worn drive recesses before removal and refitting.
• Damaged threads or missing fixings: Check the bolt and mating threads before assembly.
• During servicing: Inspect the relevant mounting points while accessible.

Replacement bolts cannot repair cracked components, stripped threads or incorrectly seated assemblies.

Fitting the rear reservoir cap

Keep the open reservoir clean and protect painted surfaces from fluid spills. Seat the diaphragm correctly and follow Honda’s procedure for closing and tightening the cap. Confirm secure closure and inspect for leaks before riding.

Use fitting compounds only where the applicable procedure specifies them. The included anti-seize pack is not an instruction to lubricate every fixing. Have damaged or uncertain mountings checked by a qualified motorcycle technician. For general background, read our stainless steel motorcycle bolt fitting guide. Honda’s workshop procedure takes precedence.

Customer questions

Are these the same kit as the front reservoir bolts?

No. These replacement bolts are selected for the rear reservoir cap positions identified in the table.
