Brake, Clutch and Switchgear Clamp Bolt Kit for Honda CB600F Hornet
Replacement fasteners for the original front brake master-cylinder holder, cable-clutch bracket and left and right switchgear housings. Browse the matching Honda CB600F Hornet 1998–2013 fastener range.
What you receive
- A2 (304) stainless steel control fixings: 2x brake-holder bolts, 4x switchgear fasteners and the matching clutch-bracket bolts — 2x for the earlier bracket or 1x for the later bracket.
- 1x Biker Bling anti-seize compound pack (7 g).
| Fitting position / component | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Front brake holder | 2x original fixing positions |
| Clutch bracket | 2x on the earlier two-bolt bracket; 1x on the later single-bolt bracket |
| Left/right switchgear housings | 4x original fixing positions |
| Anti-seize compound pack | 1x (7 g) |
Use 2x brake-holder bolts and 4x switchgear fasteners, plus the clutch-bracket allocation for your motorcycle: 2x on the earlier bracket or 1x on the later bracket. This gives 8x or 7x fitted fasteners respectively. Match the original bracket; do not combine the alternative allocations.
Photographs illustrate the bolt style and may be generic. Use the contents list and fitting positions for the supplied kit.

Materials and head style: The replacement bolts are A2 (304) stainless steel. Their heads may look different from Honda’s originals. The material name alone does not establish mechanical-strength equivalence.
When should you replace these fixings?
- Rounded drive recesses: Worn heads can complicate control servicing.
- Damaged threads or missing fixings: Inspect the housing and bracket threads.
- Loose controls: Check their locating features, seating and mounting faces.
New bolts cannot repair a cracked housing, damaged bracket or stripped thread.
Fitting information
- Follow Honda’s separate mounting procedure for the brake holder, clutch bracket and switch or throttle housings.
- Seat the components correctly and keep wiring clear. Do not use bolts to pull misaligned parts together.
- Use fitting compounds only where the relevant procedure specifies them.
- Check brake and clutch operation, throttle return, switch functions and cable/hose clearance throughout steering movement before riding. Have uncertain controls checked by a qualified technician.
For general background, read our guide to protecting aluminium mounting threads. Honda’s workshop procedure takes precedence.
Customer questions
Are lever pivot bolts included?
No. These fasteners secure the listed holders and housings, not the lever pivots or hydraulic hoses.
Will it fit aftermarket controls?
Check the control manufacturer’s fastener requirements. Different master cylinders, brackets or switch housings may need other hardware.
