Footrest assembly bolts for the Honda CBR600RR

This model-specific 12-fastener kit covers the original rider and pillion footrest assemblies on the Honda CBR600RR 2007–2008. Alongside the main footrest mounting bolts, it includes heel-guard fixings for the front rider footrests and mounting bolts for the rear brake master cylinder on the right-hand rider footrest bracket. It is not intended for footpeg pivot pins or aftermarket rearsets.

• 90157-ME9-000 – original Honda footrest hanger socket bolt, listed 4x in Fowlers’ 2007 and 2008 UK-market STEP fiches.
• 90118-MR1-000 – original Honda pan screw, listed 2x in the STEP fiche alongside the rider heel-guard components.
• 90135-MEL-000 – original Honda rear brake master-cylinder mounting bolt, listed 2x in the rear brake master-cylinder fiche.

Original fiche quantities and the quantities supplied in this aftermarket kit are not interchangeable: the confirmed 12-piece kit contents are listed above. Fit each supplied bolt or screw only at its intended mounting position. The supplied hardware is not genuine Honda equipment.

When to renew these bolts

Look for corroded or rounded heads, damaged threads or missing hardware, particularly when removing a hanger for maintenance. If a bracket is loose, inspect the hanger, frame threads and mounting faces; a new bolt cannot repair a crack or stripped thread.

Fitting the footrest hangers

Support the bracket and align its faces before fitting the bolts; do not use a bolt to pull a misaligned hanger into place. Follow Honda’s fitting and tightening instructions for each mounting point; heel-guard screws and rear brake master-cylinder bolts are separate applications. Check that the rider and pillion footrests move and return correctly and, if the rear brake master-cylinder mount has been disturbed, verify that the rear brake operates correctly before riding.
