Front wheel spindle clamp bolts for CBR900RR SC28
These four replacement bolts secure the fork-bottom front axle-holder clamps on the Honda CBR900RR (893) SC28 1992–1995. There are two positions at each fork leg. These are not the steering-yoke pinch bolts, front brake-calliper bolts, brake-disc screws or front wheel spindle itself.
What you receive
- 4x A2 (304) stainless steel front spindle pinch bolts – 2x per fork leg.
- 1x Biker Bling anti-seize compound pack (7 g)
Front fork legs, axle spindle, callipers and axle nut are not included. Photographs may illustrate the bolt style without displaying all four pieces in one image.
Photographs: Product images may show representative fasteners or fittings rather than every item supplied; the written quantities above define the pack.
Original Honda part numbers this kit replaces
- 90109-MR7-000 – original Honda front fork-end flange bolt, listed 4x in the 1992 and 1995 FRONT FORK parts diagrams.
Model-specific aftermarket parts and head style: This is a model-specific aftermarket replacement kit, not genuine Honda hardware. The visible head style or drive may differ from the originals. A2 (304) stainless steel identifies the bolt material but does not prove equal strength or suitability in a safety-critical axle-holder clamp.
When should you replace front spindle pinch bolts?
- Corroded or rounded heads: Damaged drives may make safe removal or refitting difficult.
- Worn threads or missing bolts: Inspect the fork-end threaded holes and use only the correct replacement specification.
- After wheel or fork servicing: Check all four bolts and both fork-bottom clamps whenever the front wheel or forks have been disturbed.
New bolts cannot repair stripped fork threads, a cracked axle holder, bent components or incorrect wheel alignment.
Model-specific OEM replacements: Biker Bling selects the supplied replacement fasteners and fittings for the front axle pinch positions on the fork legs on the Honda CBR900RR (893) SC28 1992–1995, rather than supplying a generic assortment. The critical fitting dimensions match the original Honda fixings for those intended positions. These are aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda-branded components.
Fitting the front spindle pinch bolts
Important: Securely support the motorcycle, confirm the replacements are mechanically suitable, and follow Honda’s service sequence for front spindle installation, fork alignment and tightening both axle holders. Never guess a torque value or assume all stainless steel fasteners match Honda’s original strength. Our stainless steel bolt fitting guide and motorcycle bolt strength grades guide are general guidance only.
Before riding: Ensure the axle is secure, fork legs aligned and both spindle clamps tightened correctly, then verify normal front brake operation. If a bolt binds, threads are damaged or alignment is uncertain, stop and seek qualified help.
