Model-specific replacement bolts
Biker Bling selects these bolts for the original fixing positions listed above. Honda references identify the original components replaced, not Biker Bling product codes. These are aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda-branded hardware.
Important fitment notes
- For Honda CB500F model years 2019, 2020 and 2021 with the matching original engine-cover and pump arrangement.
- Includes four internal oil-pump mounting bolts as well as five coolant water-pump bolts; these are distinct fixing groups.
- Locating dowels, drain plugs, sealing washers, gaskets, O-rings, covers, housings and pumps are not supplied.
- This is a kit for the listed positions, rather than every internal engine assembly fixing.
- Check replacement or modified components against their required fastener specification.
- Photographs illustrate the hardware style; the contents table defines the supplied quantity.
Materials and head style
The replacement bolts are stainless steel. Their head appearance may differ from Honda’s original bolts. Material alone does not establish mechanical-strength equivalence; match each replacement to its intended position and specification.
When should you replace engine casing bolts?
- Corroded or damaged heads: Inspect the fixings during cover maintenance.
- Worn threads or drive recesses: Replace damaged hardware and check the mating threads.
- Missing fixings: Restore the correct cover or pump fixing arrangement.
New bolts cannot repair stripped casing threads, distorted covers or leaking seals.
Fitting the casing bolts
Keep every fixing matched to its location. Follow Honda’s exact procedure for cover alignment, gasket or seal replacement, tightening order, torque and thread condition. Start bolts by hand and do not pull a misaligned cover into place with a bolt. Use anti-seize only where appropriate to the specified procedure. Confirm correct assembly and inspect disturbed oil and coolant joints for leaks before riding. Have uncertain engine or pump work completed or checked by a qualified motorcycle technician.
For general guidance, read our guide to protecting aluminium mounting threads. Honda’s workshop instructions take precedence.
