Handlebar end weight bolt kit for Honda CB500F

This pair replaces the external bolts retaining the left and right handlebar end weights on the Honda CB500F 2019–2021. There is 1x fixing for each bar end. These are weight-retaining bolts, not handlebar clamp or yoke bolts.

Important fitment notes

• For Honda CB500F model years 2019, 2020 and 2021 with the matching original external bar-end weight arrangement.
• Weights, internal weight assemblies, rubbers, retaining clips, handguards and mirrors are not included.
• Aftermarket bar-end mirrors, handguards or replacement handlebars may require different fixings.

Materials and head style: Both bolts are A2 (304) stainless steel. Their heads may look different from the original Honda hardware.

When should you replace bar-end bolts?

• Corroded or damaged heads: Inspect the bolts when servicing the weights.
• Worn threads or drive recesses: Replace damaged hardware and inspect the mounting.
• Missing hardware: Check the complete weight-retaining arrangement before refitting.

A loose weight may indicate damaged internal mounting parts. Replacement bolts alone may not resolve that fault.

Fitting the handlebar end weights

Match each replacement to its original position and follow Honda’s assembly, tightening and thread-treatment instructions. Use anti-seize or threadlocker only where specified. Check both weights are secure and confirm the right-hand weight does not restrict throttle movement or its return throughout the steering movement.

Will these bolts fit aftermarket bar-end mirrors?

Check the mirror manufacturer’s mounting arrangement. Mirrors using their own expansion fitting or replacement weights may need different hardware.
