Important fitment notes
- Compatibility: Designed for Honda VFR1200F model years 2014 and 2015 with the original brake and hydraulic clutch layout described above.
- Verify before installing: Check your motorcycle’s exact model and existing hydraulic connections, especially if aftermarket hoses or modified brake or clutch components are fitted.
- Aftermarket parts: These are aftermarket replacement parts, not genuine Honda-branded components. The banjo bolts are stainless steel and the sealing washers are copper.
- Exclusions: This kit supplies banjo bolts and sealing washers for the seven connections listed above. Brake hoses, master cylinders, clutch slave cylinders, callipers, calliper mounting bolts and calliper joining bolts are not included.
Original Honda part references
- 90145-MS9-612 – original Honda oil/banjo bolt listed in the checked brake and hydraulic clutch master cylinder fiches.
- 90545-300-000 – original Honda oil-bolt sealing washer.
These references identify original Honda components, not Biker Bling product codes. Match each supplied bolt to its intended connection; the references do not establish suitability for every hydraulic joint.
Model-specific aftermarket replacements: Biker Bling selects this stainless steel bolt and copper washer kit for the seven original connections listed above. These are aftermarket parts, not genuine Honda components. See the photographs for the supplied bolt-head style.
When should you replace banjo bolts and sealing washers?
Reasons to inspect these connections include corrosion, damaged threads, worn bolt heads or hydraulic servicing that requires a joint to be dismantled.
A leaking connection needs its cause investigated. Damaged hose fittings, sealing faces or hydraulic components may also require attention; replacement bolts alone may not resolve the problem.
Fitting information
Follow Honda’s workshop instructions for the exact motorcycle, including sealing washer placement, tightening, fluid specification and bleeding. Use new, correctly specified sealing washers when reassembling the disturbed connections.
The included anti-seize pack does not mean it should be applied to the banjo bolts. Use compounds only where the motorcycle or component manufacturer specifies them.
After fitting, check the disturbed connections for leaks and confirm correct brake and clutch operation before riding. Have a suitably qualified motorcycle technician carry out the work if you are uncertain.
