Front Brake Calliper Joining Bolt Kit for Daytona 650
8x stainless steel replacement joining bolts for the two original split front brake callipers: 4x bolts per calliper. These join the calliper halves; they are not calliper-to-fork mounting bolts. Designed for the Triumph Daytona 650 2005.
What you receive
- 8x stainless steel bolts for the positions listed below.
- 1x Biker Bling anti-seize compound pack (7 g).
Original calliper assembly references
| Fitting position / component | Supplied quantity | Original calliper assembly reference |
|---|---|---|
| Left front calliper-half joining positions | 4x | T2020241 / T2020240 — complete calliper assembly references, not bolt references |
| Right front calliper-half joining positions | 4x | T2020241 / T2020240 — complete calliper assembly references, not bolt references |
T2020241 and T2020240 identify complete original calliper assemblies, not individual joining bolts. The checked Triumph parts catalogue does not list a separate joining-bolt reference for these assemblies. The kit supplies the eight joining bolts described above; do not use calliper mounting or pad-pin references as substitutes.
Important fitment notes
- For Triumph Daytona 650 2005 with the original split front brake calliper joining positions shown in the listing drawings.
- Check the exact motorcycle and original components before fitting. Modified or aftermarket assemblies may require different hardware.
- Callipers, seals, pads, mounting bolts, bleed screws, banjo bolts and hydraulic components are not included.
- The contents tables define the supplied hardware. Photographs illustrate the hardware style and fitting positions and may be generic.
Model-specific aftermarket replacements
Biker Bling selects these replacement components for the listed original fixing positions. The Triumph references identify original components, not Biker Bling product codes. These are aftermarket replacement parts, not genuine Triumph-branded components.
Materials and appearance: The supplied metal replacement fasteners are stainless steel. Their appearance may differ from the original Triumph hardware. Stainless material alone does not establish equivalent mechanical strength.
When should you replace these fixings?
- Corroded or damaged hardware: Inspect worn heads, damaged threads and supporting parts at the listed fixing positions.
- Missing fixings: Restore the correct mounting arrangement with suitable replacement hardware.
- Component servicing: Check the surrounding mounting points before reassembly.
Replacement hardware cannot repair cracked components, stripped threads or damaged mounting faces. Identify the cause of looseness or leakage before refitting.
Fitting information
Only separate calliper halves if Triumph’s exact service procedure permits it. Follow the specified joining-fastener, seal, tightening and thread-treatment requirements. Do not infer mechanical-strength equivalence from stainless material or guess a torque value. Keep compounds and hydraulic fluid away from friction surfaces. The anti-seize pack is not permission to lubricate these fasteners. Have uncertain calliper work completed or checked by a qualified motorcycle technician and confirm normal brake operation and leak-free assembly before riding.
For general guidance, read our motorcycle bolt strength grades guide. Triumph’s workshop procedure takes precedence.
Customer questions
Are these calliper-to-fork mounting bolts?
No. They are the 8x joining bolts for the two split calliper assemblies, allocated 4x per calliper, plus one anti-seize compound pack (7 g).
Are T2020241 and T2020240 bolt part numbers?
No. They identify the original complete calliper assemblies. The checked Triumph catalogue does not give a separately serviced joining-bolt reference for this kit.
