Front fork spindle pinch bolts for the Aprilia Pegaso 600
These replacement bolts clamp the front wheel spindle at the lower fork-end fixing positions on the Aprilia Pegaso 600 (1990–1996). They are the front spindle pinch bolts, not the wheel axle itself or the fork-leg clamps in the steering yokes.
What is included?
- 2x 304 (A2) stainless steel replacement pinch bolts for the front fork-end spindle clamping positions.
The wheel spindle, front wheel and fork components are not included.
When should you replace these bolts?
- Corroded or rounded bolt heads: Damaged drives can make front wheel service difficult.
- Missing bolts or damaged threads: A spindle clamp must have the correct, securely fitted fasteners.
- Front-wheel or fork service: Inspect the pinch bolts and fork-end clamping faces whenever the spindle is removed.
Replacement fasteners cannot repair cracked fork ends, stripped threads or a damaged spindle.
Fitting and safety
These are safety-critical front-wheel clamp positions. Follow Aprilia’s workshop procedure for correct fastener specification, spindle position, wheel alignment, tightening sequence and torque. Do not assume a stainless replacement is mechanically equivalent simply because its dimensions fit. Verify that the wheel turns freely and the front brake works correctly before riding. If a fixing or clamp is damaged or the required specification is uncertain, seek a qualified motorcycle technician. For background, see our bolt strength grades guide.
The bolts are 304 (A2) stainless steel aftermarket parts, not genuine Aprilia hardware.
