These replacement bolts secure the petrol filler cap at its existing mounting points on the fuel tank of the Aprilia Pegaso 600 (1990–1996). They are for the filler cap fixing positions, not unrelated fuel tank or frame bolts.

When should you replace these bolts?
- Corrosion or damaged heads: A worn drive recess makes careful removal and refitting difficult.
- Loose or missing fixings: The cap should sit securely and correctly against its mounting area.
- Fuel-cap servicing: Check the bolts, cap and seal when the filler assembly is removed.
Replacement bolts will not fix damaged tank threads, a distorted cap flange or a leaking fuel-cap seal.
Fitting and safety
Work away from sparks, flames and other ignition sources, and keep dirt or loose hardware out of the tank opening. Position the cap correctly, start the bolts by hand and tighten evenly using Aprilia’s relevant workshop instructions.
