Single brake-line banjo bolt with copper sealing washers
This aftermarket kit provides the fastener and washers for one compatible brake hydraulic banjo connection on the Honda CBR600RR 2013–2017. Check the exact position, original fitting and ABS/non-ABS brake layout before purchasing. This is not an all-positions banjo bolt kit.
What you receive
- 1x A2 (304) stainless steel brake-line banjo bolt.
- 2x copper sealing washers.
- 1x Biker Bling anti-seize compound pack (7 g).
The brake hose, banjo union and master cylinder are not included.
Original Honda fixing references
| Fitting position / component | Supplied quantity | Original Honda fixing reference |
|---|---|---|
| One matching single-banjo hose connection | 1x | 90145-MS9-612 |
| Copper sealing washers for that connection | 2x | 90545-300-000 |
These numbers identify the original Honda fixing positions, not Biker Bling product codes. The supplied kit contains aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda parts. Year-specific references describe alternatives for their stated years, not additional supplied parts.
Model-specific aftermarket replacement: This is one brake-line banjo bolt with the two sealing washers for one matching original connection. It does not replace every front or rear banjo bolt, brake-calliper joining fasteners or master-cylinder mounting bolts. The Honda part numbers above refer to original components; they are not Biker Bling SKUs and do not imply every ABS or non-ABS connection is identical.
Head style and materials: The bolt is A2 (304) stainless steel and the two sealing washers are copper. Their materials and the replacement bolt’s head appearance differ from genuine Honda components where applicable. A2 (304) alone cannot establish the original bolt’s pressure, strength or hydraulic application suitability; check the exact fitting specification.
When should you replace a brake banjo bolt or its washers?
- When a brake-line joint is opened: Renew the copper sealing washers as required by the Honda workshop procedure.
- Corroded or damaged bolt: Inspect the threads, head, sealing surfaces and fluid passage. Do not reuse a bolt whose specification or condition is uncertain.
- Fluid seepage: Inspect the banjo union, washer contact surfaces, line fitting and master-cylinder or calliper port. A new bolt alone may not resolve the leak.
Replacement hardware cannot repair a cracked hose fitting, stripped hydraulic port, distorted mating face or faulty brake system.
Model-specific OEM replacements: Biker Bling selects the supplied replacement fasteners and fittings for the listed brake-hose banjo connection positions on the Honda CBR600RR 2013–2017, rather than supplying a generic assortment. The critical fitting dimensions match the original Honda fixings for those intended positions. These are aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda-branded components.
Fitting the brake-line banjo connection
Important: Brake hydraulics are safety-critical. Confirm the correct original location, bolt specification, sealing-washer arrangement and compatibility with the motorcycle’s ABS or non-ABS layout. Follow Honda’s procedures for assembly, tightening, fluid handling and bleeding; do not guess torque or improvise sealing arrangements.
Keep brake fluid off paint and friction surfaces, inspect the joint for correct seating and use only suitable hardware. See our guide to motorcycle banjo bolts and copper washers and motorcycle bolt strength grades guide for background information; the manufacturer workshop instructions take precedence.
Before riding: Check the assembled joint for leaks, bleed the circuit where required and verify consistent normal brake lever or pedal pressure. Do not ride with seepage, an uncertain specification or abnormal brake feel. Have a qualified motorcycle technician inspect any doubtful hydraulic connection.
Customer questions
Can this connect two stacked hose fittings?
No. Select a bolt and washer arrangement specifically confirmed for a double-banjo connection.
Where should I use the anti-seize compound?
Use it only where the relevant motorcycle or component instructions specify a suitable thread treatment. Inclusion of the pack is not an instruction to lubricate every fixing.
