- 1x Biker Bling anti-seize compound pack (7 g).
Original Honda fixing references
| Fitting position / component | Supplied quantity | Original Honda fixing reference |
|---|---|---|
| Left and right clip-on handlebar-to-fork clamps | 2x | 96300-08040-07 |
This covers the two fork-clamping positions, not the separate handlebar stay fasteners or top-yoke bolts.
The references identify Honda’s original components. These are model-specific aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda parts. Head appearance may differ from the originals; stainless steel alone does not establish mechanical-strength equivalence.
Important fitment notes
For the original handlebar-to-fork clamps on Honda CBR900RR CBR919RR SC33 1996–1999. Aftermarket clip-ons or modified mounting arrangements may need different hardware. Handlebars, clamp assemblies and top/bottom yoke bolts are not supplied.
When should you replace handlebar clamp bolts?
- Inspect corroded heads, worn drive recesses or damaged threads.
- Check the clamp and fork surface if a handlebar feels loose.
- New bolts cannot repair a cracked clamp or stripped mounting.
Fitting the handlebar clamps
Follow Honda’s workshop procedure for clamp position, fastener specification, thread condition, tightening order and torque. Do not pull a misaligned clamp into place with a bolt. Use compounds only where specified. Check secure handlebars, normal throttle return and cable/hose clearance throughout steering movement before riding.
Customer questions
Are the top-yoke bolts included?
No. This kit covers the listed handlebar clamp positions. Yoke pinch bolts are separate.
Where should I use the anti-seize compound?
Use it only where the relevant motorcycle or component instructions specify a suitable thread treatment. Inclusion of the pack is not an instruction to lubricate every fixing.
