These numbers identify the original Honda fixing positions, not Biker Bling product codes. The supplied kit contains aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda parts. Year-specific references describe alternatives for their stated years, not additional supplied parts.
Model-specific OEM replacements: Biker Bling selects these aftermarket bolts for the SC33 front calliper joining positions. Their critical fitting dimensions match the intended original fixing locations; they are not genuine Honda components.
Head style and materials: All eight supplied bolts are A2 (304) stainless steel. The head style may differ from Honda’s originals. The included anti-seize pack is a standard kit extra; do not apply it to calliper threads unless the Honda workshop procedure specifically permits it.
When to inspect the calliper bolts
- During calliper servicing: Check the bolt heads and threads whenever the calliper halves are separated for an approved repair.
- Corroded or damaged heads: Worn drive recesses can complicate careful removal.
- Damaged threads or a leak: New bolts do not repair damaged calliper threads, sealing faces or a hydraulic fault.
Fitting the front callipers
Brake callipers are safety-critical. Follow Honda’s workshop instructions for calliper assembly, fastener specification, tightening sequence and torque. Keep hydraulic components clean and check for leaks and correct brake operation before riding. Our motorcycle bolt strength guide explains why a material description alone does not establish fastener strength. If the calliper halves, threads or replacement specification are uncertain, have a qualified motorcycle technician inspect them.
Customer questions
Are these calliper-to-fork mounting bolts?
No. These fixings join the calliper halves. Use Honda’s exact service procedure for the fitted callipers.
Where should I use the anti-seize compound?
Use it only where the relevant motorcycle or component instructions specify a suitable thread treatment. Inclusion of the pack is not an instruction to lubricate every fixing.
