Brake banjo bolt and washers for Honda CBR900RR / CBR919RR SC33
This kit replaces an original brake-hose banjo bolt and its sealing washers on the Honda CBR900RR CBR919RR SC33 1996–1999. The bolt secures a brake-line eyelet at a master cylinder or caliper; it is not a caliper-to-fork mounting bolt.
What you receive
- 1x A2 (304) stainless steel brake banjo bolt.
- 2x copper sealing washers.
- 1x Biker Bling anti-seize compound pack (7 g).
The brake hose, caliper, master cylinder and brake fluid are not included.
Original Honda fixing references
| Fitting position / component | Supplied quantity | Original Honda fixing reference |
|---|---|---|
| One matching single-banjo hose connection | 1x | 90145-MS9-612 |
| Copper sealing washers for that connection | 2x | 90545-300-000 |
These numbers identify the original Honda fixing positions, not Biker Bling product codes. The supplied kit contains aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda parts. Year-specific references describe alternatives for their stated years, not additional supplied parts.
Model-specific OEM replacements: Biker Bling selects this aftermarket replacement for the SC33 brake-hose connection positions covered by the product fitment. Its critical fitting dimensions are matched to the original Honda fixing locations. It is not genuine Honda-branded hardware.
Head style and materials: The bolt is A2 (304) stainless steel; the two sealing washers are copper. The included anti-seize pack is not for the brake-fluid passage or washer sealing faces.
When should you replace a banjo bolt?
- Renew a bolt with damaged threads, a rounded head or corrosion.
- Fit new sealing washers when the brake-line connection is opened.
- Have damaged hose eyes, ports or threads checked; a new bolt cannot repair them.
Fitting a brake banjo connection
Brake hydraulics are safety-critical. Follow Honda’s workshop procedure and specified torque, and use a competent technician if you are not experienced with brake work. Keep brake fluid off painted surfaces, bleed the system as required, and check for leaks and correct brake operation before riding. Our guide to fitting stainless steel motorcycle bolts gives general advice; Honda’s brake procedure takes precedence.
Customer questions
Can this connect two stacked hose fittings?
No. Select a bolt and washer arrangement specifically confirmed for a double-banjo connection.
Where should I use the anti-seize compound?
Use it only where the relevant motorcycle or component instructions specify a suitable thread treatment. Inclusion of the pack is not an instruction to lubricate every fixing.
