Important fitment notes
- For Triumph Adventurer 900 1999–2001 with the matching original swingarm chain adjustment arrangement.
- Check the exact motorcycle and original components before fitting. Modified or replacement assemblies may require different hardware.
- The rear axle, axle nut, adjuster plates, swingarm, chain and sprockets are not included. These are chain adjustment fixings, not wheel-spindle retaining hardware.
- Photographs illustrate the hardware and fitting positions. The contents table defines the supplied quantities.
Model-specific aftermarket replacements
Biker Bling selects the supplied replacements for the listed original fixing positions. These are aftermarket parts, not genuine Triumph-branded components. The PFKL codes are reproduced from the listing drawing and contents list as fixing references; they are not Biker Bling product codes.
Materials and head style: The supplied bolts and nuts are stainless steel. Their head appearance may differ from Triumph’s originals. The material name alone does not establish equivalent mechanical strength.
When should you replace these fixings?
- Corroded adjusters: Inspect bolts and nuts that are difficult to turn during chain adjustment.
- Damaged heads or threads: Check the hardware and swingarm threads before fitting replacements.
- Missing nuts or bolts: Restore the correct adjustment arrangement on both sides.
New adjusters cannot repair worn chain and sprockets, damaged adjuster plates or stripped swingarm threads. Investigate those faults separately.
Fitting information
Support the motorcycle securely and follow Triumph’s procedure for loosening the rear axle, measuring chain slack, aligning the rear wheel and tightening the assembly. Use the specified chain-slack measurement, thread condition and torque for the exact model; do not guess them. The adjuster bolts position the wheel during adjustment and do not replace correct axle tightening. Use anti-seize only where specified, then check chain slack, wheel alignment, fastener security and rear brake operation before riding.
For general guidance, read our guide to threadlocker and anti-seize on motorcycle bolts. Triumph’s workshop procedure takes precedence.
