Front and rear footrest hanger bolts for Honda VFR1200F

This kit supplies replacement fasteners for the original rider and pillion footrest hanger brackets on the Honda VFR1200F 2014–2015. These bolts secure the hanger brackets to the motorcycle frame. They are not the smaller bolts securing the rubber pads to the footpegs.

Important fitment notes

• Compatibility: For Honda VFR1200F model years 2014 and 2015 with the original rider and pillion footrest hangers.
• Verify before installing: Check the exact motorcycle and bracket mounting points. Aftermarket rearsets, replacement brackets or modified mounting arrangements may require different fasteners.
• Aftermarket parts: These are aftermarket replacement fasteners, not genuine Honda-branded components.
• Exclusions: Footrests, hanger brackets, heel plates, footpeg rubber pads, pivot pins, springs, collars, rear brake master-cylinder mounting bolts and exhaust-mounting hardware are not included. This kit covers bracket-to-frame mounting bolts only.

• 90157-MGE-000 — original front rider hanger mounting bolt at one position on each bracket (2x across the motorcycle).
• 90158-MGE-000 — original front rider hanger mounting bolt at the other position on each bracket (2x across the motorcycle).
• 90136-MCA-000 — original rear pillion hanger mounting bolt (2x per bracket; 4x across the motorcycle).

These references identify the original Honda components, not Biker Bling product codes. The separate footpeg rubber fixing, Honda reference 90118-MGE-000, is outside this hanger-mounting kit’s scope.

Model-specific aftermarket replacements: Biker Bling selects these replacement bolts for the original front and rear hanger-to-frame positions. Match each bolt to its intended mounting point; the front and rear fixings are not all interchangeable.

Head style and materials: The supplied bolts are A2 (304) stainless steel. Their head appearance may differ from Honda’s originals. Stainless steel describes the material; it does not by itself establish equivalent mechanical strength.

When should you replace footrest hanger bolts?

• Corroded or damaged heads: Inspect the bolts when removing or servicing the footrest brackets.
• Worn drive recesses or damaged threads: Replace unsuitable hardware and inspect the threaded mounting points before reassembly.
• Missing fixings: Check that each original hanger has the correct fasteners in both mounting positions.

If a hanger is loose, inspect the bracket, mounting faces and frame threads. Replacement bolts will not repair a cracked bracket, damaged mounting or stripped thread.

Fitting the footrest hangers

• The brackets support the rider and passenger. Follow Honda’s workshop instructions for the required fastener specification, bracket position, tightening order and torque at each mounting point.
• Support each bracket during removal and align the mounting faces before starting the correct bolts by hand. Do not use a bolt to pull a misaligned bracket into place.
• Use anti-seize or other compounds only where the applicable instructions specify them. The included pack is not an instruction to lubricate every mounting bolt.
• After fitting, confirm that the hangers and footrests are secure and that the brake pedal, gear lever and nearby components operate without obstruction. Have damaged or uncertain mountings inspected by a qualified motorcycle technician.

Does this kit include the footpeg rubber bolts or pivot pins?

No. It supplies 8x hanger-to-frame mounting bolts and 1x anti-seize compound pack (7 g). Rubber-pad bolts, pivot pins, springs and the footrests themselves are not included.

Will these bolts fit aftermarket rearsets?

Check the rearset manufacturer’s fastener requirements. This listing covers the original Honda hanger mounting arrangement; aftermarket brackets are not automatically covered.
