Important fitment notes
- For Triumph Adventurer 900 1999–2001 with the matching original engine cover and water-pump arrangement.
- Check the exact motorcycle and original components before fitting. Modified or replacement assemblies may require different hardware.
- The engine covers, sprocket cover, clutch slave cylinder, water pump, gaskets, seals, locating dowels and drain plugs are not included. This is a cover-fixing kit, not an engine mounting or internal engine bolt kit.
- Photographs illustrate the hardware and fitting positions. The contents table defines the supplied quantities.
Model-specific aftermarket replacements
Biker Bling selects the supplied replacements for the listed original fixing positions. These are aftermarket parts, not genuine Triumph-branded components. The PFKL codes are reproduced from the listing drawing and contents list as fixing references; they are not Biker Bling product codes.
Materials and head style: The supplied bolts are stainless steel. Their head appearance may differ from Triumph’s originals. The material name alone does not establish equivalent mechanical strength.
When should you replace these fixings?
- Corroded or marked heads: Damaged heads can complicate cover removal.
- Worn recesses or threads: Replace damaged hardware and inspect the engine threads before reassembly.
- Cover servicing: Keep bolts organised by their original fitting group when a cover is removed.
Replacement bolts cannot repair a cracked casing, damaged gasket face or stripped engine thread. A leaking cover needs its sealing components and mounting faces checked as well.
Fitting information
After assembly: Check the relevant oil or coolant levels and inspect disturbed covers for leaks, following Triumph’s workshop procedure for the work carried out.
Match every replacement to its original position, including the different fixings within the sprocket-cover and left-cover groups. Follow Triumph’s workshop instructions for cover alignment, gasket and seal renewal, tightening order and torque. Do not use a bolt to pull a misaligned cover into place. If the clutch hydraulic assembly is disturbed, follow the relevant inspection and bleeding procedure. Use anti-seize only where appropriate for the specified thread condition, and check all disturbed joints for leaks before use.
For general guidance, read our guide to protecting aluminium mounting threads. Triumph’s workshop procedure takes precedence.
Customer questions
Does this kit include locating dowels or drain plugs?
No. It supplies the 41x listed bolts and one anti-seize compound pack (7 g). Dowels, drain plugs, gaskets and seals are not included.
Are all the cover bolts interchangeable?
No. Keep the hardware separated by fitting group and match each replacement to the correct original position. A shared model name does not make every cover bolt suitable for every hole.
