Model-specific aftermarket replacements: Biker Bling supplies these bolts for the original front reservoir cover positions. They are aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda parts.
Head style and materials: Both supplied bolts are manufactured from A2 (304) stainless steel.
When should you replace the front reservoir bolts?
- Corroded or marked heads: Renew them when the original bolts are difficult to remove or spoiling the finish.
- Rounded drive recesses or damaged threads: Replace a bolt that cannot be removed or refitted correctly.
- Lost hardware: Make sure the cap is secured with the correct number of suitable bolts before riding.
New bolts cannot repair a cracked reservoir, damaged cap or worn seal. Replace a damaged cap or diaphragm as required.
Model-specific OEM replacements: Biker Bling selects the supplied replacement fasteners and fittings for the front brake-fluid reservoir cap on the Honda CBR600RR 2003–2006, rather than supplying a generic assortment. The critical fitting dimensions match the original Honda fixings for those intended positions. These are aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda-branded components.
Fitting the front brake reservoir cap
Keep dirt and moisture away from the open reservoir and take care not to spill or contaminate brake fluid. Seat the diaphragm and cap correctly, then follow Honda’s workshop instructions for the procedure and tightening. For general installation advice, see our stainless steel motorcycle bolt fitting guide.
Before riding, check the reservoir is correctly closed and inspect for leaks. If fluid has been contaminated or the reservoir is damaged, have the brake system checked before use.
Customer questions
Does this include a reservoir cap?
No. The kit supplies the listed replacement cap bolts and the separate anti-seize pack. The cap, diaphragm and reservoir are not included.
Where should I use the anti-seize compound?
Use it only where the relevant motorcycle or component instructions specify a suitable thread treatment. Inclusion of the pack is not an instruction to lubricate every fixing.
