Aftermarket parts and materials
The bolts and nuts are aftermarket replacements selected for the original adjuster positions; they are not genuine Honda parts. The bolts are A2 (304) stainless steel. Use the supplied hardware only in its intended positions.
When to replace chain adjuster hardware
Renew a bolt or nut if threads are damaged, the head is rounded, hardware is missing, or adjustment is no longer smooth. If the adjuster plate or swingarm threads are damaged, new hardware alone will not restore them.
Adjusting the rear wheel
Use Honda’s workshop procedure to set chain slack and align both sides of the rear wheel. Tighten the axle and adjuster hardware in the specified order and to the manufacturer’s values. Recheck chain movement, wheel alignment and brake operation before riding. Our aluminium thread-care guide offers general advice, but Honda’s procedure takes precedence.
Model-specific OEM replacements: Biker Bling selects the supplied replacement fasteners and fittings for the rear-wheel chain adjuster positions on the Honda CBR600RR 2007–2008, rather than supplying a generic assortment. The critical fitting dimensions match the original Honda fixings for those intended positions. These are aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda-branded components.
