Rear brake reservoir cap bolts for Honda CBR600RR
This two-bolt kit is for the cap of the original rear brake fluid reservoir on the Honda CBR600RR 2013–2017. It replaces the bolts securing the reservoir lid; it does not replace the bolts mounting the rear brake master cylinder to the footrest bracket.
What you receive
- 2x A2 (304) stainless steel rear brake reservoir cap fixing bolts.
- 1x Biker Bling anti-seize compound pack (7 g).
The reservoir cap, diaphragm and reservoir body are not included.

These numbers identify the original Honda fixing positions, not Biker Bling product codes. The supplied kit contains aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda parts. Year-specific references describe alternatives for their stated years, not additional supplied parts.
Model-specific aftermarket replacements: This pair is intended for the rear brake-fluid reservoir cap, not for the front reservoir lid, rear master-cylinder mounting bolts, brake-line banjo bolts or brake-calliper fixings. The Honda number above identifies the original cap bolts, not a Biker Bling SKU.
Head style and materials: The two replacement bolts are A2 (304) stainless steel. Their head appearance may differ from the original Honda bolts. They are aftermarket parts, not genuine Honda components. The stainless designation does not justify overtightening a small reservoir-lid fixing.
When should you replace the rear reservoir cap bolts?
- Corroded or marked heads: bolt-head damage or corrosion can make the cap difficult to remove cleanly.
- Rounded drive recesses or stripped threads: Renew a bolt that can no longer be tightened or removed reliably.
- Missing bolt: Replace missing cap hardware with the correct specification so the lid is secured as intended.
New bolts cannot repair a cracked reservoir, distorted lid, damaged diaphragm or leaking brake-fluid joint; those components require separate attention.
Model-specific OEM replacements: Biker Bling selects the supplied replacement fasteners and fittings for the rear brake-fluid reservoir cap on the Honda CBR600RR 2013–2017, rather than supplying a generic assortment. The critical fitting dimensions match the original Honda fixings for those intended positions. These are aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda-branded components.
Fitting the rear brake reservoir cap bolts
Clean the exterior around the cap before disturbing it and keep dust, moisture and debris away from the open reservoir. Protect paintwork and brake components from spilt fluid. Check the diaphragm is correctly located and seat the lid without trapping the seal.
Follow Honda’s workshop instructions for the bolt fitting and tightening procedure; never guess torque or overtighten the cap. Our stainless steel motorcycle bolt fitting guide covers general care with stainless fasteners but does not replace the Honda brake-system procedure.
Before riding: Check that the reservoir cap is evenly seated and both bolts secure. Inspect for leaks and confirm normal rear brake operation. If the fluid may be contaminated, the cap or seal is damaged or the rear brake feels abnormal, seek qualified help before riding.
Customer questions
Does this include a reservoir cap?
No. The kit supplies the listed replacement cap bolts and the separate anti-seize pack. The cap, diaphragm and reservoir are not included.
Where should I use the anti-seize compound?
Use it only where the relevant motorcycle or component instructions specify a suitable thread treatment. Inclusion of the pack is not an instruction to lubricate every fixing.
