Original Honda fixing references
| Fitting position / component | Supplied quantity | Original Honda fixing reference |
|---|---|---|
| Matching brake banjo sealing positions | 10x | 90545-300-000 |
These numbers identify the original Honda fixing positions, not Biker Bling product codes. The supplied kit contains aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda parts. Year-specific references describe alternatives for their stated years, not additional supplied parts.
Model-specific aftermarket parts: This pack contains ten copper sealing washers, not bolts. Honda’s oil-bolt washer reference above identifies the original sealing component at relevant banjo connections; it is not a Biker Bling product code or proof that the pack fits every possible ABS or non-ABS hydraulic connection.
Materials and fitment: These are copper sealing washers, not stainless steel. The washers must have the correct dimensions, material suitability and seating characteristics for the exact original hydraulic connection. Different brake-line layouts may require a different count, so the ten-washer retail pack is not a guarantee of complete-bike coverage.
When should you replace copper banjo washers?
- After a brake hydraulic joint is opened: Fit new sealing washers whenever required by Honda’s service procedure rather than reusing a damaged or deformed washer.
- Fluid seepage around a banjo union: Inspect washer seating and the banjo bolt, hose fitting and mating faces; replacing washers will not correct a cracked or damaged joint.
- Corroded, scored or distorted washers: Do not reinstall a washer that cannot seal properly or that is unsuitable for the intended connection.
New washers cannot repair stripped threads, a bent banjo fitting, a damaged master cylinder or a leaking hose.
Model-specific OEM replacements: Biker Bling selects these copper sealing washers for the original brake-hose banjo sealing positions on the Honda CBR600RR 2013–2017, rather than supplying a generic washer assortment. They are aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda components.
Fitting copper washers at brake-line connections
Important: Brake hydraulics are safety-critical. Check the exact connection and follow Honda’s workshop instructions for the position of the sealing washers on the banjo joint, the correct banjo bolt specification, tightening and hydraulic bleeding procedure. Keep dirt and brake fluid away from brake pads and discs, and protect painted surfaces.
Do not guess torque values, stack extra washers to compensate for a mismatch or assume every connection takes identical hardware. Our guide to motorcycle banjo bolts and copper washers offers background information only; Honda’s service instructions take priority.
Before riding: With the system assembled and bled as required, check carefully for leaks and verify a normal firm brake response. If there is fluid seepage, spongy operation or doubt over any seal or fitting, do not ride; have a qualified motorcycle technician inspect the system.
Customer questions
Are banjo bolts included?
No. This is a copper sealing washer kit with a separate anti-seize pack; bolts and hydraulic components are not included.
Where should I use the anti-seize compound?
Use it only where the relevant motorcycle or component instructions specify a suitable thread treatment. Inclusion of the pack is not an instruction to lubricate every fixing.
