Top and bottom yoke pinch bolts for Honda CBR600RR
This six-bolt kit replaces the fork-clamping bolts in the upper and lower yokes of the Honda CBR600RR 2003–2006. It includes 2x bolts for the upper yoke and 4x for the lower yoke. The separate clip-on handlebar clamp bolts are not included.
What you receive
- 2x A2 (304) stainless steel bolts for the top yoke.
- 4x A2 (304) stainless steel bolts for the bottom yokes.
- 1x Biker Bling anti-seize compound pack (7 g)
That is 6x bolts in total. The yokes, forks and handlebars are not included. The contents list above gives the supplied quantity; photographs are illustrative.
Original Honda part numbers this kit replaces
Honda uses different original references for the two model-year groups. These are alternatives for the same fixing positions, not extra bolts in the kit:
- 2003–2004: 96400-08045-07 – top-yoke pinch bolt (2 used); 90109-MR7-000 – bottom-yoke pinch bolts (4 used).
- 2005–2006: 90140-MEE-D00 – top-yoke pinch bolt (2 used); 90134-MEE-D00 – bottom-yoke pinch bolts (4 used).
These numbers identify the original Honda hardware, not Biker Bling product codes. The supplied bolts are aftermarket replacements selected for these CBR600RR mounting positions; they are not genuine Honda components.
Head style and materials: All six supplied bolts are A2 (304) stainless steel. Their heads may look different from Honda’s originals. Stainless steel describes the material; it does not by itself establish equivalent mechanical strength to the original fasteners.
When should you replace yoke pinch bolts?
- Corroded or rounded heads: Damaged bolt heads can make removal and refitting difficult.
- Damaged threads or missing bolts: Missing fixings need the correct replacement. Damaged yoke threads must be inspected rather than simply fitting new bolts.
- During fork maintenance: Inspect the bolts and clamping points whenever the forks have been removed.
If a fork leg moves or a yoke is damaged, new bolts alone will not repair the clamp or its threads.
Model-specific OEM replacements: Biker Bling selects the supplied replacement fasteners and fittings for the upper and lower steering-yoke fork-clamping positions on the Honda CBR600RR 2003–2006, rather than supplying a generic assortment. The critical fitting dimensions match the original Honda fixings for those intended positions. These are aftermarket replacements, not genuine Honda-branded components.
Fitting the yoke pinch bolts
Important: These bolts secure the fork legs within the steering yokes. Correct fastener specifications and tightening procedures are essential for safe assembly. Follow Honda’s workshop procedure for the correct position, tightening order and torque at each yoke. Do not assume the top and bottom positions use the same specification, and do not use a bolt to pull a misaligned assembly into place. Our motorcycle bolt strength grades guide explains why stainless material alone does not establish strength equivalence.
After fitting, check that the fork and front wheel are correctly aligned and that the steering moves freely from lock to lock without cables or hoses snagging. Do not ride if the fork legs cannot be secured to Honda’s specified procedure; have the assembly checked by a qualified motorcycle technician.
